Wild Orchid dresses at Franks Jazz - photos by Willow

I've been friend's with Willow for what seems like years but in truth it's about a year. She's an amazing DJ and still does quite a few sets at Franks every week. On Tuesdays we did Golden Girls Tuesdays until about a month ago with me as her hostess.

I mentioned in passing that I had a couple of Wild Orchid gowns to blog and she was suddenly mad keen to take my pictures for the blog so we went to Frank's Jazz the scene of so many of our great shows together to take some pictures of these wonderful dresses I'd been given.

So anyway I think that we still work well together. With no scripts allowed my Strut-it HUD didnt work so i was forced to use individual poses with some pretty interesting results.

The two dresses provided were called Starry Night and Liza and are very recent additions to the Wild Orchid catalogue. Both have a shimmery rubbery texture to them and they certainly catch the eye. They fit different mesh bodies including Slink physique and hourglass and Maitreya Lara.

I tried the Maitreya and was pleasantly surprised that the alpha was automatically applied to stop skin peaking through. i did have to make a couple of small tweaks to the alpha on the Starry night and Liza dresses but nothing major before hitting the dance floor.

This picture was taken on the sea view balcony at Franks Jazz with the autumn foilage very appropriate. The Liza comes in 12 colours controlled by single HUD. With no scripts I chose this pale blue colour first.

There I was staring right at Willow and all the time she's looking down on me. Another great picture on the balcony at Franks Jazz.

When you come into Franks you land near here before heading up to the club via the long staircase. Behind me you can see the small mall which is home to some top designers. This was the last picture we took with Liza in blue.

Two views  of the Starry Night dress in green and you can clearly see the lace bodice on the dress in the first view where I am doing a Usain Bolt impersonation with my arms. You can see the star effect in the dress texture. This was also taken on the balcony and on the other side of the fence is a large drop to the sea below.

I changed my hair for this long blonde style by Truth which  cascades down my back. I'm pointing to the houses behind me which are for rent on the sim. Vacancies still occur but they are sought after houses right next to the mall and club. This is Liza again but in a salmon pink.

Posing beside the Wild Orchid vendor wearing the Liza dress. You can see it comes in Legacy, Kupra, Maitreya and Slink.

I'm very lucky i have both in my wardrobe but if i had to choose I'd pick the Starry Night which offered that shimmery star texture and lace top.

*The Street* by Peperoncino

I was given a Landmark for Arranmore by my good friend Willow to use as a good location for photographs and I have to agree. The dress I'm wearing is a three colour change mini dress by Pierluigi called the Street.

Don't worry the tram hasn't run in a while and there was no driver. This version of the dress is mainly in orange.

You'll have a long time to wait for a tram at this station. It has holes in the floor and the ticket booth was empty. This dress is the second of the three colours for the Street dress in blue.

That tram station isnt for the faint hearted with holes in the floor. This is the third colour of the dress from Pierluigi Benelli.
